The Strickland family has always believed in more than just running a store, they believe in serving their neighbors. From Robert Strickland’s early example, to Mr. George’s vision, and now with Tripp continuing the legacy, three generations of the family have shared the same passion: supporting the community they love while providing customers with quality products and dependable service.

In 1974, R. George Strickland Jr. had a vision, a locally owned and operated business that could meet the diverse needs of the community. With foresight and dedication, he laid the foundation for a store that would become a trusted source for hardware, building materials, and farm and garden essentials.

Over the decades, our commitment has never wavered. As our communities have grown and evolved, so have we, always striving to meet new needs while staying true to the values Mr. George instilled over fifty years ago.

Today, Robert George Strickland Jr the 3rd ,”Tripp” continues the vision. We’re proud to serve multiple communities with the same level of care and service that began in a single storefront. Our roots run deep, and our mission remains clear: to support and uplift the people we serve, every single day.
